BitCluster took part at the World Digital Mining Summit (WDMS) in Oman

On March 29, 2024, the World Digital Mining Summit (WDMS) was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. The event was held under the title “”Hydro-mining Wins the Desert», and was dedicated to the hydrocooling of mining equipment, which is an important thing in the hot climate of desert regions.

The event brought together top leaders and experts from the field of mining and blockchain from around the world to explore the latest developments and future trends in global mining. During the day, the forum hosted presentations by speakers, panel discussions, as well as an exhibition, where global mining companies were participated. BitCluster presented a new data center in Ethiopia at the summit, and our ambassador Darren Waggot spoke on the topic “Emerging market for Bitcoin mining, where is the future.”

The WDMS participants exchanged knowledge and experience, discussed industry development concepts. Special attention was paid to the development of hydro mining as an environmentally friendly and efficient solution for mining digital currency, energy efficiency of mining in connection with the upcoming halving, as well as the use of renewable energy sources.
